I had a wonderful time at Nathalie’s lino printing workshops, something I’ve not attempted before, a complete novice.  I looked forward to her workshops and I learned so much under her guidance, she is an excellent teacher. Thank you Nathalie for such  fun, interesting workshops.

Come to my house and you will see how much I love Nathalie’s art work. I now have six pictures; 2 mixed media paintings and 4 lino prints, (I commissioned 1 of them with 2 more copies for my daughters).  If I had a larger house I would buy more - in fact I would love to squeeze one more in!  One of my daughters has 2 of her acrylic paintings too - our favourite artist.

I love attending Nathalie’s workshops. She is generous with her time & expertise & I have learned so much about Lino cutting and produced some lovely lino prints to take home.

“I been acquainted with Nathalie Pymm’s work for a number of years and have bought several pieces of her art. My favourites are possibly the Mediterranean village and town scenes, which are absolutely charming. I also own several still life paintings and some linocut prints – all drawing comment from visitors. Little quirks in each work keep the interest over time and the textures applied to the canvas provide wonderful depth. Regardless of the media or subject every piece bears Nathalie’s inimitable style, being instantly recognisable as a Pymm, as well as her signature pop of bright colour. No wonder I keep going back for more.”

“I fell in love with Nathalie’s art at an exhibition and voted for it in their competition. That was several years ago and I’ve bought more than one piece each year since. There is such variety in her art and she always injects her style, whatever the subject or medium. It’s not an easy feat to carry off the use of bold, bright colour but Nathalie does it delightfully.”

‘Over the years, I have bought several of Nathalie’s pictures. What I love about her prints are the vibrant colours she uses, and the employment of humour in her subjects, especially concerning animals! Because of the detail, there is often something new to see each time you look at her pictures. And lastly, I just admire her skill in print-making. She has found her voice.’

Nathalie's art works are eye-catching and vibrant, her garden studio during 2022 Bucks Art Weeks was a riot of colour with a wide variety of subjects from architectural to the natural world.   Her work in mixed media and lino printing includes very detailed and complex reduction prints.   She has a lovely sense of humour and many of her subjects are full of fun.   She constantly seeks new inspirations and ideas, and it is wonderful to see the wide variety of subjects her work encompasses.

Lino Printing Workshops

Nathalie is an excellent tutor and her lino printing workshops cater for complete beginners to established artists who may not have ventured into printing.   She lends the necessary tools and explains and demonstrates the techniques clearly - she is very supportive throughout the workshops.   She has plenty of advice and guidance, and if something goes wrong with the cutting - such as a slip of the blade on the lino - she knows how to put it right!   She shows how coloured and patterned papers can be used to great effect.   All students complete at least one print and have copies to take home at the end of an interesting, absorbing and very enjoyable day.
